My Current Favorites

Happy Monday, y’all! I hope your Monday has been a good one so far. Today I have class and while I have time before class starts at 10 am, I wanted to share my current favorites so far.

I have recently tried some new products and some oldies and I have seen a such a difference in how changing some things around can improve your mood and make you feel so much better.

Lately I have been using this Neutrogena alcohol-free toner and I love that it’s alcohol-free because it’s not as damaging to my skin and I also feel refreshed without the strong alcohol smell.

I’ve been going back and forth with these two moisturizers every other week and that may not be the correct way to go about them, but sometimes my face needs a little more moisture and one gives me a bit more moisture ( Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel) than the other (Clinique moisturizing lotion)especially with these colder days coming in more, but I love both equally.

So I have this thing where I buy so many mascaras and switch throughout depending on how I want my lashes and it turns into using all of them or only two of them, but can you blame a girl for wanting long lashes? I think not.

Lately, I haven’t worn much makeup, honestly, but when I do I like to wear a base and I’ve used my sample size of the Tarte shape tape concealer and I’m so glad I got the sample and I am really loving it so far.

Have you ever had any trouble when picking out eyeliner whether it’s pencil, liquid or gel? Well you are definitely not alone and I have been searching for the right liner, pencil and liquid, because those always seem to be the tricky ones for me to pick the right ones. I’ve recently used the Milani supreme kohl kajol liner and the Maybelline hyper easy liquid liner and both have been so nice and the liquid liner doesn’t smudge so that’s a plus for me!

mascaras (L to R) : Maybelline lash sensational , CoverGirl clump crusher , Maybelline Lash Sensational luscious mascara and CoverGirl lashblast fusion

My favorite go-to palette right now is the Tarteist pro pallete and I usually go for neutral tones so I like how this palette has a bit of both warm and cool tones and with some shimmery shades too to give the look a little pop. 🙂

So another issue I dealt with before was finding the right shade for me especially in the different seasons and decided to go without foundation all together because I was frustrated in trying new products and them never working out and wasting my money, but this time around I decided to give it a go again and I found this gem. The It Cosmetics CC Cream has been heavenly. It’s my shade and it blends in perfectly and it doesn’t give me that cakey feeling most foundations would give me and I haven’t put it down since getting it.

If I keep anything right in regards to anything makeup, it’s my brows. I feel like if my brows aren’t done, I feel off. So to say I use my brow products religiously is quite the understatement. haha If I want a slight more full natural look I pick up the Anastasia brow wiz and if I want a more full thicker brow I go with my brow pomade and I recently got the brow gel and I forgot how much I love clear brow gel products.

My go-to scents right now have been Victoria’s Secret Bombshell and Victoria’s Secret XO and both scents are so subtle and not overpowering which is nice, I can’t do super strong perfumes or mists because I get a major headache and it’s just not a fun time. I really love these and plan to get the bigger perfume of Bombshell soon.

So these are my current favorites as of right now and I am loving all the products I am using and will most likely be using these up pretty quickly, but hopefully not too quick, haha. If you’ve used any of these products, let me know if you liked it or if you didn’t like it and why, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Happy Monday, y’all and I hope the week is a great one for you all. 🙂
