Happy 2018, y’all! Can’t believe we’re on day 2 of 2018, crazy! For today’s post, I’m going to talk about some of my goals for 2018!
So my main goal for this year is to actually keep up with and accomplish my goals like so many who make goals for the new year!
So I know this is a typical goal, but I really do want to be healthier mentally and physically for my own health and well-being.
I’ve always been a bookworm at heart and I slacked from reading for a very long time so I want to make it a goal to have some me time and read more and also step into some different reading genre and find my favorite (or favorites) kind of book to read.
Be a more positive person
Typically, I think I’m a pretty positive person, but I want to be an even more positive person in the negative aspects of life, I tend to be really negative about some things so I want to better my mindset by analyzing things through, be patient, and think positively about whatever the situation is.
Save more and spend less
My financial goal is to save up more money and less time spending it on things I don’t necessarily need. I’ve decided to give myself a spending budget every month and I mainly spend more on planner stickers so that’s what I’ll be cutting back on a bit this year.
Achieve my academic goals
As some of you may or may not know, I’m taking spring semester off and in that time span I’ll be re-taking the ACT for a better score and go back to classes in the summer and register for the ADN program again for the Fall term. My goal is to get accepted into nursing school this time around and overall be a better student and stay motivated and dedicated in achieving my career goal.
Be more productive and less lazy
So at heart I can be a lazy sloth, but this year I want to be more productive with my time and not be completely lazy for days. I want to keep myself busy with a new hobby or reading or exercising. I’ll have my moments of laziness, but I don’t want it to be as permanent as it’s been these last years.
So those were my goals for the new year! I hope your day is wonderful and I hope your new year is a great one!
What’re your goals for the new year?
