Update on the Kaplan Exam and Nursing Program

Happy Thursday, y’all! So today I wanted to update you guys on how I did on the Kaplan exam and the end result of applying to the nursing program. If you wanna read about it, click here :).

So I took the Kaplan twice and did better the second time. I applied to the program and unfortunately, I didn’t get in for the Spring term. Honestly, I was very upset when I was told, but thanks to my wonderful and supportive husband I was able to pull out of my sad moment and look at the positives. With this result, I’ve decided to take the spring semester off and with that, I’ll be able to focus more on myself and my health, spend more time with my husband, travel more, get a part time job and even retake the ACT to better my score.

I don’t regret deciding to take the Spring semester off because I feel like I’ve been in school for a good while and a break is much needed and well-deserved. I’m not giving up on trying to get into the program and I’ll be taking summer courses and re-apply for the Fall term. This will give me time to better myself and just breathe.

So this was my short little update about the Kaplan exam and nursing. I’m not upset anymore, but definitely has motivated me even more to do better and better myself. Congrats to everyone who got accepted into the program this upcoming semester and for those who didn’t, it’s not the end of the world, you’re not a failure, and don’t give up on your dream, it’ll get better and you will get in the next time around. 😊

I hope y’all have a wonderful Thursday and I hope you enjoyed this short update!
