Flashback Friday: Europe 2017

Happy Friday, y’all! Thanks so much for stopping by! Today I’ll be doing a Flashback Friday, not sure if it’ll be a regular Friday post, but wanted to start it anyway!

So in April of this year, I got the chance to go to Europe! I can actually say I’ve been to Europe and enjoyed every minute of it. It’s been on my bucket list for, seriously, years. I thought it was going to be a while before I was going to be able to go, but the opportunity, a spontaneous one at that haha, came and I took it and I’m not regretting it one bit.

We went to Italy, France and Spain, the top 3 places I’ve always wanted to go in Europe! In Italy, we went to Florence, Orvieto, Pisa and Siena. In France, we went to Nice, Nimes and Monaco and in Spain, we went to Barcelona. Everywhere we went was beautiful and it felt very home-y, it was so relaxing, you could easily feel like you belonged there and didn’t want to leave, that’s how I felt in Orvieto, small town, but very home-like and cozy.

What I learned while in Europe is that history isn’t boring when you get to see the actual places and monuments, that being in moment is key and to enjoy every second of it, that creating close bonds in such a short amount of time is bittersweet, but worth it, and that I need to work out more because there was so much walking (SO MUCH WALKING!) haha.

I would also like to take this moment to thank Valentino for being the best and coolest bus driver ever and actually interacting with us unlike most bus drivers who just drive and leave, thanks Valentino, you are greatly appreciated. A special thanks to our tour guide Dario, for being so fun and out there and letting us have fun all while learning, you were a great tour guide and I’m sure everyone can agree with me when I say, we’re so glad you were our tour guide and we appreciate you so much, thanks for all the fun, Dario. And another special thank you to Mrs. Rodriguez and her husband for letting me go with their group to Europe, seriously, thanks so much and I love y’all’s personalities, they’re great! Thanks to everyone who made this trip so fun and so enjoyable!

Now that I’ve rambled for a good bit now, let’s get to the pictures! I’ll be posting some of my favorites from the trip! Again, so grateful and thankful that I got to go on this trip and plan on visiting again!

So those were all of my favorites from the trip! I loved being in Europe and will hold a very special place in my heart! I hope y’all enjoyed this post!

Have you ever been to Europe? If so, where? If not, where do you want to go?

Happy Friday, y’all!
